Jessie Huff brings over 15 years of experience in sustainable energy development and strategic planning, with a focus on rural and community-based solutions. Prior to joining SE Conference, she served as a State Energy Coordinator with USDA Rural Development, where she supported renewable energy and energy efficiency projects and initiatives across Alaska, Oregon, and Arizona. She also worked with the Alaska Energy Authority as a renewable energy development specialist and served on the board of the Alaska Center for Appropriate Technology. She has multiple associate degrees, a bachelors in renewable energy and a M.S. in applied resource economics from UAF.
Jessie is passionate about practical place-based solutions, inclusive collaboration, and building programs that are culturally grounded, technically sound, and responsive to the need for long term economic stability rooted in environmental stewardship.
